The TinMen app also comes with a snazzy inbuilt meal scheduler which allows you to create weekly or monthly meal plans solving your food woes. It doesn’t get any better than this!

Tell us a little bit about your yourself. Where do you come from and what did you study?
I graduated from IIT Kharagpur with a degree in Electronics Engineering. Thereafter, I worked as a software development engineer in Oracle and Amazon before starting TinMen. TinMen was founded in mid-2015.
You have a lot of responsibility at TinMen. What does a typical day look like for you?
I start my day early and try my best to spend the first four hours of the day on independent work which does not have dependencies on other team members. Then I break for lunch. After lunch, I follow up with each of my teams and get updates. Some of these follow ups become meetings. I try my best to schedule any team meetings or external meetings during or after this time i.e. after 2PM.
How and why did you get started with UrbanDart?
We have a small but extremely good in house sales team at TinMen. When we heard about UrbanDart, we came up with the strategy of extending this in-house team and combining UrbanDart’ s sales force with our existing one to scale up our sales efforts quickly . This gave us a lot of flexibility, mainly the ability to scale our sales efforts up and down at will. This is something very important and crucial for startups such as us, for whom speed of execution is one of the most important things.
The other aspect that we found very interesting about UrbanDart is that we can have several ambassadors working on a single campaign and this gives us the advantage of being able to tap into their pre-existing sales networks thereby increasing our reach and this in turn helped increase our sales tremendously.

What advice would you give a new ambassador who is interested in working for your campaign?
I would strongly encourage ambassadors working for the TinMen campaigns to know as much about the product i.e. TinMen as possible. The easiest way to do this is to order lunch from us (assuming they fall in one of our delivery zones). Once an ambassador understands our product and maybe even tries our product once, it will help them tremendously in pitching the product to prospective customers.
How has your experience been with UrbanDart been so far?
The journey with UrbanDart has been smooth and hassle-free so far. We have been working with UrbanDart, and have been experimenting with different kinds of campaigns and most of them have worked great so far. Soon, we will enter the scaling up phase and we are super eager to see how quickly we can scale up our sales efforts with UrbanDart’ s help. What do you think are the most important traits in a sales person?
I believe that persistence, willingness to learn more about the product and building healthy long term relationships with customers are the most important traits in a sales person.
What’s your best career advice for young people today?
Work hard and never stop learning. I recommend that all young people read the book “Deep Work” by Cal Newport.
